On Site Testing Class OTDR Basic

Description

J&J Communications will send a Certified Fiber Characterization Engineer to your Site and do a workshop on cleaning, Scoping Connectors, setting up the OTDR, and running OTDR tests to troubleshoot and certify Fiber Spans. J&J will send a trainer to your site on a Friday morning and work with up to 5 technicians for up to 6 Hours. Your technicians will need to bring their OTDR, Launch Reels and FIP. The class will be broken into 3 parts. The first part will be a classroom discussion on how to clean and scope connectors. Part 2 will be setting up the OTDR to perform the test. Part 3 will be hands on with your technicians running tests and asking any questions. The test Equipment that J&J will have on site is Exfo but we can work with any brand you have.
