J&J Communications began with a clear mission: to help broadband cable companies upgrade their outside plant infrastructure in preparation for the future of high-speed internet. In our early years, we played a key role in transitioning systems from traditional coaxial networks to hybrid fiber-coax (HFC) systems, laying the groundwork for faster, more reliable connectivity.

We quickly became known for our specialized expertise in fiber optic splicing, coax splicing, sweep and certification, and noise mitigation—critical services that improved performance and reliability across entire networks.

In the late 1990s, we were proud to take part in our first Fiber-to-the-Premises (FTTP) project in Malibu, California—a milestone that marked a new chapter in our company’s evolution. Since then, our focus has increasingly shifted toward fiber optic splicing and testing, supporting the industry’s move toward full fiber networks.
